What is mediation in the workplace?

Mediation is the opportunity to engage in a highly effective, informal process that has many benefits to the participants.
 
The aim of mediation is to give the participants the opportunity to reach a durable outcome that is acceptable to both participants and for the working relationship to be regenerated to allow for an ongoing working/business relationship.

The process allows the participants to reengage in their work environment in a harmonious and productive manner.
 
The role of mediation is not to  look back but to provide a process for the participants to move forward.
 

As the workplace leader of the individuals it was good to see them in the mediation room, taking small steps together in a very difficult situation
